2025-2026 PreK for All Registration Information

Preschool Registration will open April 28th at 9am to currently enrolled families and April 30th at 9am to new families. Class offerings will be posted 4/9. Any outstanding balances must be paid in full before registering. Please call 586-716-7862 for more information. 

2025 - 2026 Pre-School Registration - links below

  • When you register you will be put into a "wait room".  You will receive an email telling you the registration is pending.  You are not accepted into a program until you receive a confirmation email stating your registration is confirmed and a payment receipt.  Please note your account must be up to date in order to register for next year.

Pre-K For All Application- For 4 Year Old Preschool - turned into the Early Childhood Center. Spots are limited and filled based on State of Michigan procedures. All should apply. (4 years old by Sept. 1st., Dec. 1st if spots remain)

We will also need:  Original birth certificate (we will make a copy), Driver's license (we can make a copy), 2 proofs of residency (any mail will work - you do not need to live in-district), and immunization records. 



Anchor Bay Offers Free Preschool Program 

Anchor Bay offers a free preschool option for children who:

  • Will be 4 years old on or before September 1, or if spots are still available by Dec. 1
  • Live in the Anchor Bay District,  Macomb County, or St. Clair County
  • Half Day & Full Day Classes are held Monday - Friday
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided.
  • Bus Transportation is available to Anchor Bay Families.
  • Anchor Bay Preschool Core Curriculum aligns with Kindergarten standard.
  • Limited Before & After Care is available

Registration for 2025-26 Before & After Care

Families will able to register on Tuesday, July 29th at 9am. The link will be posted. 

If you are registering for SACC at Middle School North, you will be put on a waitlist until the site is fully licensed. Once that happens, we will contact you to verify you still want your child to attend and proceed with enrolling you child. 

Limited space is available, balances must be paid in full, and we enroll in the order that the requests are submitted. Please contact the Early Childhood Center if you have any questions at 586-716-7862.

Kindergarten Readiness Night - March 19th, 6pm at ABHS

Kindergarten parents are encouraged to join us for a Kindergarten Readiness Night. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and go through our annual Kindergarten Readiness presentations.

The window for Kindergarten registration and and Schools of Choice starts February 12th. Visit the Enrollment/SOC page for more information.

2026-2027 Unlimited Schools of Choice

Applications will be accepted for Schools of Choice from February 12, 2026 through September 3, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.

2026-2027 Schools of Choice is available for Kindergarten/Young Fives through 11th grade.

Placement at requested schools is dependent on class size and availability. The date for enrollment shall be no later than the end of the first week of school which is September 4, 2026.

The following documents are required to be submitted with your Schools of Choice Application:

  • Statement of Prior Discipline Record
  • Discipline report/print-out from former school for the previous two years
  • Child’s current report card (high school students must also include current transcript)
  • Child’s most current IEP if your child is presently receiving any special education programs or services

Please apply for Schools of Choice by completing the Enrollment Express Pre-Registration Link:

  • Select Enrollment School as the Resident School and answer the Schools of Choice questions.
  • When the pre-registration form is approved, you will receive an email with instructions to create an online Parent Portal Account.
  • From the Parent Portal, the following enrollment forms must be competed:
    1. Student Demographics
    2. Previous Enrollment and Records Release
    3. Discipline Record
    4. 2026-2027 Out of District Schools of Choice Application
  • If your Schools of Choice Application is approved, you will receive an email indicating your child’s placement.
    1. You will need to log back into the Parent Portal to complete the remainder of the enrollment forms.
    2. Your child’s enrollment is complete when all forms are completed and you have submitted the required documents:
      • Birth Certificate
      • Immunization Record
      • Parent Photo ID
      • Two (2) proofs of residency
      • Hearing and Vision Screening (kindergarten and Young Fives only)
      • Oral Health Assessment (kindergarten and Young Fives only)
Free Meals Program Continues Through the School Year

Great news! 

     The State of Michigan has approved a budget that continues to provide free breakfast and lunch for all students through the end of this school year.

     We still encourage families to complete the Education Benefit Form if you haven’t done so already. Submitting this form helps our school district receive additional support and resources to benefit all students.
